TELA AND RUSSELL GET MARRIED

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Young, Jr.

My niece, Tela Ruth Howard and Russell William Young, Jr., were married today at 3:00 p.m. at the Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville, AR.

My brother, Danny, had three boys and finally had a beautiful baby girl. She was his pride and joy. He would have been so proud of her today because she was a beautiful bride and married a fine young man. She was given in marriage by her three brothers, Jon, Ace and Wesley.

She had a memorial table set up, at the reception, with pictures of the past with her father. She also included a little book that he had read to her so much the cover was just about gone and he had repaired it with black tape. He was a very special man and was greatly missed on this very special occasion.

KING AND QUEEN OF THE PROM

Sheyanne and Elijah were selected to be the King and Queen of the Prom. I was so proud of Sheyanne because she wanted to make this night very special for Elijah since it was probably the first time he had ever received such special recognition. Elijah is a special child and has had a very tough life. He lost his mom at an early age and lives with his grandparents.

The King and Queen must have the first dance. Shey was a little nervous about that because she didn’t know if Elijah could dance. They got on the dance floor and she asked him if he knew how to dance. He said, “Yes, my aunt taught me. You want me to spin you?”

As you can see from the pictures they had a ball. Elijah is not bashful at all and we all know that Sheyanne has no problem with being shy.

SHEYANNE GOES TO THE PROM

Sheyanne worked all day getting ready for the Prom . She looked great in her beautiful navy blue dress. Her Aunt Jeanna did her hair and make-up and she was pleased with the way she looked. She found out today that she was selected as Prom Queen. She was pretty happy about that.
