SHEYANNE

 Sheyanne and Sassy  (2 blonds)
Think that hat is big enough??
This is Sheyanne and her dog, Polly. (2 blonds)
 Sheyanne and her dad, Brett.
 Sister stuff...
 SHEYANNE
Turn about is necessary when you have only two granddaughters. I featured Madasan in my last blog so it is Sheyanne's time. She is 22 years old but notices such things. It is hard to post anything without one of these girls in it...after all what else do I have to show off.
I no long have a dog to show off, in fact I don't have anything but these girls to brag about.  I know that the people that drop by realize that by the number of pictures I put on the blog about these two. My blog is more like a photo album of the girl's activities.
I guess I could write about my church activities but that might be boring. I could write about my weekly "hen parties" that several friends and I enjoy every Friday down at Kenya's or if all else fails I could write about my ailments or doctor's appointments. Now you see why I write about my granddaughters because their lives are much more exciting than mine. The activities I mentioned pretty well sum up my life in a nutshell. I go to church, I go to get my hair fixed, I go to Kenya's with the girls and I go to doctor's appointments. Don't I have an exciting life?

MADASAN'S SUMMER

Pistol Annies getting ready to perform at the Grannis Rodeo.
Madasan and her buddy "Bill" at Granis Rodeo.
Madasan and Taryn on their way to Granis  Rodeo.
Madasan, Taryn and Adrianna at Julia's pool.

Here it is almost August and school is approaching. Madasan has had a very busy summer as you can tell from the pictures.  No, really she has been busy. She rides six horses nearly every day. This is not just fun riding but training horses for their different jobs and one that is just now being trained to ride. Then she has a bull and heifer in training for the upcoming Fair Season. (A farm girl's work is never done.)

Another fun thing she has participated in this summer is softball. She has not played softball since junior high but let Coach Bray and Coach Lites talk her into playing. She loved to play but she felt that it interfered with her showing cows, participate in the High School Rodeo and basketball. But the coaches assured her that they would be sure that she would have time for those activities. As most of you know coaches are not very understanding if you do not put their sport first and she didn't want to be scolded when something came up that she had to miss a practice.

Finally, she has been working for one lady by taking care of her flowers while she was on vacation and then worked for another lady by taking care of her horses and dogs. So swimming, rodeoing and fun stuff are put in the slow parts of her day. She does make time to hang out with friends  up town since she is driving. A girls got do what girls gotta do.
