Abel loves to ride in the car. He is so large he gets quite a bit of attention, especially if Shey rolls down the window just a little.
This is Abel's tennis ball that he loves to play with every chance he gets.
This is Abel, the two year old Pit Bull that Sheyanne has to keep boogers away. She get afraid at night and thinks Able might discourage an intruder. He is a big baby and is quite spoiled. The last picture is after they had been out playing with his tennis ball. He got hot so when they came in he found the air vent and fell on it.
Suzanne's birth mom, Marcie's, contacted them about her niece's dog that needed a home because she was moving and couldn't take him to her new home. Sheyanne thought he was just what she needed since someone broke into her house a few months back and she has been afraid at nights since then soooooo now she feels so safe with he new watch dog. She says he doesn't act like he would hurt a flea but just his appearance will scare off most critters.
Abel is a city dog and had been raised in the house so when they went out to feed the horses on his second day he looked at the horses and took off after them with Sheyanne screaming for him to come back...he didn't hear her. She decided he probably would have to go back because her horses are more important than being afraid. When Daniel came in from Oklahoma Abel loved him and has no problem obeying him so maybe he will get to stay.
She has moved to Buckner, AR down near Southern State University. She is now a student there and working in the Financial Aid Office. After going into Nursing, then Ag. Business, then Pharmaceutical Rep. and now Elementary Ed. This is what I wanted her to do in the beginning but she wanted to be a nurse. I think she will be in college seven years if she finishes this degree. Guess we will wait and see.
She has a boyfriend that lives down there and I am wondering what will happen if they break up. Her record for dating the same guy is seven months and she is on month four with this guy. One thing that might make it work is that he also rodeos and Abel is in love with him. We will see...
