KASE DANIEL POSES FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHER

I think this is the most adorable picture. It almost looks like an advertisement for saddles. The photographer did an outstanding job.

This saddle has special meaning to Sheyanne and all of the Muse family. Daniel won this saddle in team roping at the Chip Ward Memorial Rodeo. He didn't really need the saddle so Brett bought it from him. (This was also about the time that Sheyanne took notice of Daniel.) The saddle has been occupying space in the Muse household and was brought out for this photo shoot. Chip Ward was a friend of Brett that had cancer and passed away so the saddle was special.

Daniel took Kase for his first baby shots the afternoon of picture taking.  They feared that he would be upset and would not perform for the camera.  He was a perfect little gentleman and flirted with the photographer...so his mom said.

After he got bored with the picture taking he got hungry and Sheyanne had to feed him. After getting all satisfied he went to sleep. The photographer then was able to prepare him for this picture.

The picture with the big knife also has significance. Brett collects Case knives and some where along the way in the selection of a name for the baby the name Case came up. After a few days of pondering a suitable name they decided on Case but spell it Kase. So Kase Daniel was it.

It is a rough life and all they do is snap pictures of me. It is so embarrassing...caught me in a big yawn.

Nonna fixed Mom and Nonnie a pancake breakfast. Wish I had some teeth so I could eat...think I'll just take a nap.

Kase Daniel arrived at 11:02 pm July 8, 2013. He weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.

This is my first great-grandchild.  I guess I'll keep him.

SHEYANNE AND DANIEL'S BABY SHOWERS

 Sheyanne has four weeks and was honored today with a baby shower. Several friends and family gathered to shower her with gifts and encouraging her in getting ready for the arrival of little Kase Daniel.

2013 BUNCO LUAU

Every year we end it with a big Bunco Luau Bash at Julia's.  Most times it is so hot that we can't enjoy all of the great food and fun but this year the temperature was just right. We have ladies of all ages attending and from all over sw AR. Thank goodness this year we had one that was older than me. It was a great nigh of enjoyment with friends and something we look forward to each year. It ends our playing Bunco for the year but we will start back up in the fall.

SWAHSRA FINALS AT TEXARKANA

Madasan spent the weekend at the SWAHSRA Finals in Texarkana. She and her little gray horse, Ishmael had so much fun with the 21 Cowgirl Salute and all of the events of the finals. Her friend Scout, from Smithville, OK was there to enjoy the fun with her.

GREAT GRANDCHILD DUE IN JULY

I am expecting a great grandson in early July. I have mixed feelings about this arrival since the wedding has not yet happened. They did plan to wed but because of insurance and the big expense of having a baby they decided to wait. I know when the little fellow arrives I will be one proud grannie but just have problems adjusting to  the direction the world has gone. ~Kase Daniel is expected in early July. She is making her little nest in anticipation of his arrival. I would really like for them to come a little closer to home because a two hour drive gets a little difficult for this old granny. ~Sheyanne plans on finishing college and the little daddy is working hard these days just entering into the adult world with all of its responsibilities. ~I wish these two much happiness and if things work out that they will get married and live happily every after. My second wish is that Kase comes into this world healthy and in a great condition to be able to endure many hugs and kisses.

 

 

 

2013 PROM

Remington was Madasan's Prom date. He arrived with flowers in hand and ready to get the show on the road. You can tell my his smile that he was so happy but was not going to smile. Now your eyes go to the feet and both are wearing their comfortable shoes. These two are not about to walk around in uncomfortable shoes. Madasan is not a trend setter. She could care less what others think of her and wearing high heel shoes is something she didn't plan to do. Everything was just as it should be with makeup, manicure, pedicure, earings, hair do, dress but flats. That is my special granddaughter. I will bet you one thing and that is I doubt if anyone laughed at her but I bet a lot of the girls with four inch heels sure wished they had been brave enough to do like wise.

I called this one the beauty and the beast. I really hated to stand next to Madasan since she was looking so great. We were outside waiting for her date and her mom just had to take a few pictures.

This is a few of her classmates plus her date, Remington. The styling guy in all pink is her cousin, Miklane.

Madasan look so cute. I had a BIG problem with her shoes. She decided that high heels are for the birds and she refused to walk around in them all night and she thought it was silly to take shoes so she could walk so she found the bejeweled little fellows and she was the most comfortable girl at the prom. When her date arrived I noticed his shoes and instead of fancy dancin' shoes he had on his comfy shoes . Guess these two make a pair.
