♪♥HAPPY BIRTHDAY♥♪

♪♪♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♪♪ EDNA, IRIS, JO ANN

The years just keep clicking away. I was 72 years old today. The morning started off with a call from my two brothers. They know I sleep late so to be CUTE they called early to wish me a Happy Birthday.
*
My granddaughter took me out to lunch at Pablanos. She was really wanting a new phone so she thought this was a good opportunity to get me in the mood to buy one for her. You would think her pacemaker had gone out by the way she was feeling not being able to text on her phone. She decided to wait to renew her contract so she can get the phone she wants and it will be much cheaper. That will be in twenty-one days. I dread it! She can call out and receive calls but cannot see the screen when a text message comes in. It may be a long twenty-one days.
*
I went to a softball game and then returned home for my party. It wasn't really a big bash since some of my friends had other plans but two of my buddies, Edna and Iris enjoyed cake and ice cream with us. Suzanne and her family plus one of Madasan's friends helped me celebrate.
*
I got some interesting gifts. You know if Iris is at the party the gifts are interesting.
*
I will end with this lovely little quote, "Don't regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many." ~unknown author

BUNKO NIGHT

This was Bunko night for the month. Our hostess was Donna Kight. She is not known for being a great cook but tonight she out did herself. She had a very good Mexican meal prepared for us. (She had practiced all week on her husband to get things just right.)

We always have so much fun but the highlight of our night was Julia telling about visiting the funeral home and the excitement that followed. Iris was not present tonight but she had a big part in the story.

The other highlight was seeing the ultrasound picture of Erin’s little one. She and her husband (The Preacher) are so happy about having their first baby.

It was a good night to be with friends.
(If you look real close you can see that after two weeks I still have a black eye.)

MADASAN'S BASKETBALL TEAM/COACH SHEYANNE

This is the sixth grade Girl's Pee-Wee Basketball Team. Madasan and the other six girls make up the team. Sheyanne is their coach. They won a few and lost a few this season.

They were having fun with the photographer, Carmen, when she shot these pictures. She doesn't like to do traditional shots and the kids love it.
