KASE HAS HIS PICTURE TAKEN, AND TAKEN...

We have had some serious picture taking going on with my new great-grandson, Kase Daniel.  I think the one with horns is adorable of him. It was so cold outside that if you look real close you can see that his nose is a little red. I think he looks embarrassed in the picture with Rudolph horns but his mom thought it was adorable.

The very first picture is of Daniel and Kase. Daniel is a very nice young man. He has a very good personality and is a hard worker. He works for an electric company and in his spare time he shoes horses. In fact, that is the way they really got acquainted. He is a team roper and she had met him at some of the rodeos but while he was down shoeing their horses they got to talking and started dating.

I love the last picture. He was here Christmas and the big red Santa hat looked so cute on him. He is too young to really enjoy the excitement of Christmas but look out next year. He is just now sitting alone. Sheyanne and Daniel don't put him down often enough for him to crawl or sit alone. She went to pick him up the other day and he was sitting in the floor playing with his toys. She was completely beside herself...she just couldn't believe it.

I would like to wish my two loyal  readers a Happy New Year.

KASE DANIEL AT FOUR MONTHS

This sweet boy is growing so fast. He goes for his four month checkup today. He is a happy, lovably baby and has certainly brightened up our lives.

,MADASAN- GOAT TYING EVENT

The beautiful white dress has been packed away and it is back to fun in the arena. Madasan takes part in several events in the AR High School Rodeo Association. This is just one of the events. The object is to bail off of a galloping horse, land in the loose dirt without falling, catch a wiggling goat, grab his/her four feet and tie them without them coming lose. It is a timed event and naturally the best scores add to your points.

HOMECOMING 2013

Madasan tied up her horse long enough to get all gussied up in her beautiful white dress and white blinged boots to serve as the Homecoming Queen for the Dierks Outlaws. The last picture was taken in Dallas where she found just the right dress and those beautiful boots.

Her escorts were the team captains, Andrew Sirmon and Adam Bradshaw. The crown-bearer was Karson McQuarter, the flower girl was Maci Muse and the football carrier was Brett Jones. Her father, Brett, was her escort on the field Friday night.

KASE DANIEL POSES FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHER

I think this is the most adorable picture. It almost looks like an advertisement for saddles. The photographer did an outstanding job.

This saddle has special meaning to Sheyanne and all of the Muse family. Daniel won this saddle in team roping at the Chip Ward Memorial Rodeo. He didn't really need the saddle so Brett bought it from him. (This was also about the time that Sheyanne took notice of Daniel.) The saddle has been occupying space in the Muse household and was brought out for this photo shoot. Chip Ward was a friend of Brett that had cancer and passed away so the saddle was special.

Daniel took Kase for his first baby shots the afternoon of picture taking.  They feared that he would be upset and would not perform for the camera.  He was a perfect little gentleman and flirted with the photographer...so his mom said.

After he got bored with the picture taking he got hungry and Sheyanne had to feed him. After getting all satisfied he went to sleep. The photographer then was able to prepare him for this picture.

The picture with the big knife also has significance. Brett collects Case knives and some where along the way in the selection of a name for the baby the name Case came up. After a few days of pondering a suitable name they decided on Case but spell it Kase. So Kase Daniel was it.

GUESS WHO HAD BREAKFAST WITH ME TODAY???

Madasan and Kase taking a little nappie...

Sheyanne (Mom) and Kase all bright eyed and bushy tailed.

It is a rough life and all they do is snap pictures of me. It is so embarrassing...caught me in a big yawn.

Nonna fixed Mom and Nonnie a pancake breakfast. Wish I had some teeth so I could eat...think I'll just take a nap.

My beautiful granddaughter about to pop but still looking great.

Sheyanne with bags packed with Able and ready to go to the hospital.

Everyone waiting for the big event. I am playing Cancy Crush to pass time.
Kase Daniel arrived at 11:02 pm July 8, 2013. He weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.

The proud grandparents-Brett, Suzanne and Kase.
All cleaned up,  full of breast milk and ready for a little nap.
This is my first great-grandchild.  I guess I'll keep him.
Already showing his dimple for his Nonnie!
Home and introduced to Able.

I have been a little late getting this big news out but was reminded by my one loyal viewer that they were waiting to see the new baby. Sorry about that Mary!
