SHEYANNE GOES TO COLLEGE

UNIVERSITY OF AR COMMUNITY COLLEGE AT HOPE

MOVING IN TO HER NEW APARTMENT

THE NEW APARTMENT
We loaded up Suzanne's truck and made several trips to Hope to get everything set up for Sheyanne's new apartment. We gathered up enough furniture to get her started. She had to buy some things to make it look "COOL". She wouldn't let me take pictures of the inside until she had it just right.
*
She went down on several occasions and tried out her new apartment before officially moving in on August 19. She had orientation on August 19 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. She left her mom and me at the apartment and whispered to me, "Don't let my mom cry too much." I didn't.... We left before she returned.
*
She started class on Wednesday, August 20 with fifteen hours. She has classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. So far so good. (She already has a new man in her life-that is good I guess....)

HOWARD COUNTY FAIR-AUG. 11-16, 2008

A tired young lady after a week at the Howard County Fair.
Madasan showed a pig for her friend.

Cramming for entering Showmanship. The good news is that she won this coveted award and received a beautiful belt buckle.

Madasan and Sally

This is Madasan and her bull. He won Grand Champion and also Supreme Bull. Kolby, Madasan's best friend, is holding the awards.
Madasan's animals all won awards so she felt that all of her hard work really payed off.
Sheyanne missed the Fair this year. Her cousin took her to FL for a week as a graduation present. She returned home tonight around 11:00 p.m.

HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY, SHEYANNE 7-16-08

Madasan helping to remove the candles.
Sheyanne celebrated her 18Th birthday this year. It doesn't seem possible that she should be 18 years old. It seems that it was only yesterday that she was my big helper in the elementary school. Now here she is all ready for college, got her own apartment, registered for 15 hours of classes and getting ready to try her wings.
