This nice rattler was visiting around the barn area while the girls were feeding their animals. After MUCH running and screaming the Great White Hunter came to the rescue with his trusty pistol and blasted the rascal. I just hope the mate is not hiding behind a feed sack. Creepy!

EEEEEeeeeek! I am so thankful that in all my years of living in the South (since 1993) I have yet to encounter a snake on our property.
