Judge Melinda GilbertMy friend, Helen, had one daughter, Melinda. She graduated with honors from our school and went on to study law. She practiced law for a few years and then became a judge. She didn't get to judge juvenile cases very long because she became ill with a very serious disease, Multiple Skeletal Atrophy (I hope I have that disease right). The disease gradually took over her life and despite her efforts, the efforts of the best doctors and her family she lost her battle fr0m this terrible disease.
Melinda was married had had two children.
