ALICIA'S HOMECOMING

SCRAPPER HOMECOMING

I attended the homecoming at Nashville on Friday afternoon with Suzanne, Sheyanne and Zack. My niece, Alicia Howard, was a maid in the Scrapper Homecoming so we wanted to go let her know how proud we were for her.
*
When we arrived Richard, my brother and her father, had saved us a front row seat.
*
Several of my nieces and nephews have been in homecoming before but this was our first time to attend. I told Suzanne about this and she said, "Well this is the first one to call three times to invite us to attend."
*
We are so accustomed to seeing blue and white in the Outlaw Homecomings it was a tad strange to see all of that orange and black. We slowly adjusted to the color change but decided that those Scrappers need to come up and see just how the Outlaws do a Homecoming Ceremony. The decorations were lovely but not quite as elaborate at the Outlaw decorations. After the introductions the cheerleaders did about four cheers and that was it. Ours goes on forever . One thing that I was impressed with was the Queen's speech. She did a fantastic job and the young men and women look really classy. (For Scrappers...)
